The screws stripped out while I was trying to attach this box to the outside of my house, then after 2 weeks, the lever used to open the box jammed, so that even with the right combination, it will not open.
The "good" news is that it took me less than 60 seconds to break the box open with a screwdriver (no hammer required), so I got my key back without breaking a sweat.
This is worthless and expensive. Even if it worked, it would be a piece of cake for someone to open it and get your key.

This product does not live up to expectations. I purchased several of these boxes. One for my own use and one to use at my mother's house. One of the boxes I hung at my mother's, the door would not stay closed. Then once we got it to stay closed (had to slam it numerous times), it would not open, even when the correct code was lined up on the dials. Unfortunately, I do not have the receipt so I can not return it. I would not recommend this product. Spend the extra money and buy the ones with the keypad.Customer Review: GOOD PURCHASE!

This is an awesome product. Very safe and secure. It looks like some of it might be made out of plastic from the picture but it's all metal so even if you ripped it off the building you'd still have to get inside it. It would be MUCH easier for someone to bust a window then get into this box! It fits atleast 4-5 keys or 2 stick/jump drives. Great media vault! You can reset the passcode too! GREAT BUY, ARRIVES QUCIKLY! Packaging was fine. We bought 2 but would love a third!Customer Review: Just about perfect

The only thing that would make this product any better would be if there were a paper template for the holes you have to drill - tough to get them just right working by yourself. That said, this fits the bill perfectly for securely leaving a key for house sitters, guests, etc. It appears to be bombproof so even though a snooper might see it on your wall, they will have a much tougher time getting into it (they won't) than they would have finding your key under that flowerpot.Customer Review: life saver

I purchased this after my sister locked herself out of her house and I had to drive to her house to let her back in. Although she had to wait a few hours, it was a good thing I had her spare key. So I purchased this for her and one for myself too. It comes with screws for mounting but I attached magnetic strips to the back and we keep ours on the fridge in the garage. Having the combination lock makes it really easy and safe. It's come in very handy since we bought it.
