Don't plan to take this with you, it's really only going to be of use in your own garage. When I go out of town I lock all three motorcycles together with this cable just to be a little bit more difficult to rob. This is in addition to multiple individual locks on each bike, i.e. steering, front brake, rear sprocket, immobilizer, and of course locked garage and full coverage insurance.
There is no such thing as a burglar-proof lock, but you can make yourself a less appealing target. This is just another layer of security. Make sure to buy a U-Bolt lock of comparable quality.
