Customer Review: Heaviest Armored Cable BUT Replacement Keys?????????

I bought these thinking that I would have no trouble getting extra keys for them. After all it was my favorite lock maker, Master Lock. I registered the locks and lo and behold, I have searched for locksmith that could provide me with extra keys, but no one out of 7 tries has the blanks.
Master Lock will not provide any keys for any of their "specialty" bike locks. You have to go to a locksmith as I referenced earlier. This is a legitimate concern and I feel appropriate to this review.
Does the lock work. Yes! No problems there.
But I returned as many of the Master specialty locks as I could and replaced them with Kryptonite locks. You register with Kryptonite and you can order extra keys from them for these specialty locks.
I like Master Lock and have many of their other locks. This not meant as a complete "dis" of ML. Just a real concern for the lack of being able to get extra keys. If I were to lose my keys... well I do have access to an acetylene torch, I suppose.
