I got 5 of these for my parents after my mom fell down the stairs due to the house being too dark at night. They are perfect for my dad because they use VERY light electricity. This Maxxima night light is nothing less than stunning! I had high expectations but eventually it surpassed them. It provides very nice and powerful enough light, it is very cheap to operate and the price is great. I think that this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I purchase two of these lights because I was so impress with the light it produced, Not real bright, but not very dim. I use one in the bathroom and I don't have to turn on the main light to see at night. they don't get hot,that is a plus for me my old night light got pretty warm. they also give off a nice blue light.Customer Review: Mediocore light

I had high hopes for this nightlight after reading other reviews, but it isn't so hot. The light isn't very bright and quite diffused, and the light sensor isn't sensitive enough - it stays on in all but the brightest light. I ordered two, but have only opened one, and the other is likely to stay in its packaging.Customer Review: It's OK

The bathroom that I bought this for is dark, but had enough ambient light in the daytime. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, so the light stayed on all the time. I stopped using it in that room because it wound up being overly hot to the touch, and I didn't want it to potentially cause a fire.
