I have purchased two of these twice (I didn't learn the first time), and all four burned out after only a short time--around 4 to 5 weeks. because they put out a fair amount of light. But
for my bedroom I thought it was too bright, I ended
up preferring one of those old fashioned florescent
green lights that have a much softer glow.

Highly pleased with the lights. They are actually brighter that you might think - we have one in the master bath (and two in the garage) and we have to shut the door partially to block some of the light! Highly recommend these for use and power savings.Customer Review: I saw the light!

These work great in my cabin and in my RV. Keeps this old man from banging his knees into furniture or stubbing my toes on things.
Great, not too bright, not too dim. I just hope they have a long use life.

I am pleased with this light. The output is on the low side - which is just what I wanted. The swivel head is useful to put the light where you want. It seems to be very well made. I have no reason to think this will not last years.
