Customer Review: Great nighttime "bathroom" light!!

After using these wonderful lights for about 6 months now, I have to say that just about every home in the country could use one of these!! We use one in the bedroom as a night light to get to the bathroom, without having to tun on bright lights that would interrupt our drowsy march to the room of nightly duties!
Thanks to the electric sensing "eye" the little light turns on when we get out of bed, and casts a light that is about that of a bright night light. The bonus is that it is cordless and runs for months on 4 AA batteries. (We use rechargeable AA batteries) We have one of these on the floor in a corner of our room, to light a pathway to the bathroom at night. The light only comes on when there is movement, so we are not disturbed by a night light on all night. It is energy efficient, because it only turns on when it is dark enough to actually need light. (It senses daylight vs. darkness)
We have another one of these at the top landing of our stairway down to the livingroom. Who knows how many times this little gem has prevented a tumble down the stairs in the darkness because it lights the landing and the way to the light switch on the wall- if more light is needed.
A great little thing to have in the event of a power outage, as this little unit is battery powered. It will allow you to walk around your home in a total blackout situation, by lighting your path, including getting up and and down stairs. The price can't be beat either!! This also works great as a supplemental closet light or linen cabinet light. I feel good knowing that it only stays on for as long as you need it, conserving power as it shuts itself off when there is no movement. Don't let the single LED fool you into thinking it doesn't light a path. It is wonderful- in fact, we also got a similar unit with 8 LEDs inside. It had a very strong glare, but not much more useable light. This one throws a soft glow of light that we consider 100% "useable."

Maxxima introduces the MLS-01 occupancy sensor light. The battery operated MLS-01 automatically turns itself on when motion is detected by the built in sensor and turns itself off 30 seconds after you leave the area. Dusk to dawn sensor prevents daylight activation. The MLS-01 also has a switch to allow continuous useage if you requre the light on at all times.Lighting Tools
