Customer Review: Didn't last a year and very hard to remove!

This was a piece of cake to install and looks great for about a year. At the 1 year mark the chrome started bubbling and pealing. When I tried to take the toilet seat off to replace it, I discovered that one of the plastic bolts had fused with the rod that was holding the seat it in place. I had to cut it off with a serrated knife. The whole process took me an hour. This toilet seat is junk.
