The "8-pc. Mini Wood Carving Chisel Set" is a very inexpensive set of tools. While not great quality, they are very usable on soft wood and other soft materials.

We used these to carve candles (see pictures) and they performed very well. The 8 piece set includes enough choices to allow for several different cutting options.

Know what you are getting and consider the low cost of these usable tools when deciding if this set is right for you.

Recommended for carving soft materials.
