I was screwing it to the post when the tiny screw bent, which caused me to stab the cheap plastic switch with the screw driver and it broke to bits... After my temper tantrum I went to the hardware store and bought a weather resistant doorbell button that is made out of metal and it works great! (at half the price I might add)
P.S. Love the gate opener though, good stuff!
Description of Mighty Mule FM132 Gate Opener Push Button Control
The push-button control is an affordable, convenient way to activate any GTO/Mighty Mule Automatic Gate Opener from inside the property or up to 1000ft. away from the gate. It is a hardwired device that can be mounted indoors or outdoors. The push-button control looks like a doorbell, and is ideal for remote activation of the gate opener. For safety reasons, it should be placed in a location that allows the operating person to be in line of sight of the gate opener. Wires directly to the control board and uses 16-gauge multi-stranded, dual-conductor, low-voltage wire (Item# 34673, sold separately). U.S.A.
