Customer Review: Just what I needed

This product is great - the two lines are quite long, and allow me to use quite a bit of space in my yard for hanging laundry.
With the lines being retractable, it virtually disappears when the laundry is done, which I like because I did not want a big, permanent fixture taking up space and getting in the way. I mounted it on one of the 12" wide wood ceiling supports on my deck, on the side facing the yard, so when the lines are retracted, the hinge mechanism allows me to fold the unit in toward the wood post, which makes it virtually invisible from the inside.
Yes, the lines do sag when there's heavy stuff or a lot of stuff on them. I do pull it very taut before I wrap it around the tab on the bottom, and I actually wrap it around 2 1/2 times, which gives a much better hold than just once around.
I try to put the heavier items at the ends of the line, and the lighter things in the middle, that seems to help, too.
Overall, this was just what I needed, and I am quite happy with my purchase.
