I bought these hooks at my local hardware store, and they are very difficult to use, and you end up having to be flexible with where you want your pictures hung to avoid hitting a stud. Getting these hooks into the wall is quite the chore. As soon as you it the curve in the wire it takes a lot of wiggling and shoving to get the hook to make it into the wall. It took me a few minutes to get one in. Also, unless you have a studfinder you don't know if you'll hit a stud in your wall and have to move to another spot and punch another hole. Horrible if you want to put groups of pictures up because you have to hope that you get all stud-free spots. If you're felxible about where you want your pictures, and have some putty to fill the failed holes than these work fine. Once they're in the wall they work as advertised. I hate these because I can't put my pictures where I want them. I really doubt that the people who wrote the other reviews here have ever actually had to put in one of these hooks. The hook is a good concept, but fails in real life. I recomend buying a studfinder (about $20) hammer and nails to hang your pictures. It's easier, and works every time.
