I initially ordered 6. One globe arrived broken and was quickly replaced by Amazon. All bulbs lit when first assembled indoors. However, only 3 of the 6 have ever glowed in the evening after a full day of direct sun, even after replacing batteries. Those 3 do provide a nice ambiance; however I would not purchase these again because of a 50% "dud" rate.Customer Review: clear ball fixture

I ordered two of the glass balls. They arrived fairly quickly and in fine condition. I have had no trouble with either one in the 30 days I have had them on my front lawn. It took very little time to charge them. It is fun to watch them change colors. Sometimes they will be in sync with each other and display the same color at the same time. We`ve had these lights for about 2 weeks. I bought 5 of them. They are wonderful to watch the lights change from blue,green,red,and so on. My wife just loves them and so do I. People slow down as they drive by to look at them. We have them across the front of our house and they just look great. I bought two of these to replace two other color changing lights that I bought in Costco last year and accidentally broke them. They are beautiful. I love the crackle glass balls and the colors changes are mezmorizing at night.
next year I will buy two more for my other garden. They really make the garden spectacular. worth the money.

She loves them!
It's a nice accent light at night, not annoyingly bright.
The subtle change of color is awesome.
The solar moonrays can be moved around & placed anywhere,
since they don't require electricity.
