I purchased three of the solar powered Moonray's #99924 color changing glass balls as a gift and I wish I had ordered more. The colored lights change seven times as stated and stay lite for a very long time. In fact these beautiful globes are still going strong in the morning after my other solar walkway lights have turned off. The first night we installed them (stuck them in the ground and let the sun charge) We had a bunch of friends over that could not get over how "cool" these changing light were. I clustered the three of them in our very large garden area (25 X 12 feet) and am in the process of purchasing more for our other garden. The price on Amazon cannot be beat by the other garden catalogs that sell them. So if you want to see a spectacular show of color, buy these and not the ones that have colored glass or only change to three colors.Customer Review: More delicate than Faberge Eggs

I own the previous version of these lights, and they've been working for almost two years flawlessly. So I decided to purchase four more. We they've redesigned them, obviously to save money - the ball is smaller, the solar panels and housing are smaller and more fragile. But the bigger deal is - NONE of them worked more than a day! Under their initial out of the box charge they were lovely - but then they all pooped out - One immediately, 2 more within two days, the last one after that. This in 15 hrs/day full sunlight. If I "played" with the light sensor, they would try to work again for a bit, but any movement would then shut it off - WAY too fragile! I'd gladly buy the previous version since it seems bulletproof, but these newer designs are fundamentally flawed - I'd recommend another light.Customer Review: Surpringly good grandma gift

Got this for a hard to shop for grandma, who loves her little potted plant garden. Its not a large item, but looked proportional in one of her larger planters. Its easy to put together the stakes snap together and the globe goes on top of the stake that contains one color changed led. My only concern was the way the glass globe attaches to the stake. I was hoping for something a bit more secure since its glass, but it kinda just rests on about an inch of the stake. The stake is surprisingly solid though, so it eased my fear of broken glass bits some. I'd be cautious to keep it out of the way of dog tails and clumsy kid though. For being a single LED, it surprisingly bright at night but not too garish. I'd imagine that they'd be a bit busy if you bought a few with all the color changing.Customer Review: Great, but....

These lights are really pretty and they definitely add character to our backyard living area. However, we purchased three of these and two of the globes broke. It wasn't due to quality issues of the product. But I mention that they broke because it is VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get replacement globes. We've tried several places. We finally contacted the manufacturer who informed us the only place to get them was at Blain's Farm & Fleet. This is a chain that does NOT take online or phone orders. So if you don't live near one (WI, IL, and IA), then you are out of luck. So be advised, although they are beautiful, it is next to IMPOSSIBLE to replace a broken globe. I don't know if they make it difficult so we'll just buy new fixtures, but there is NO WAY I'm giving them more money.Customer Review: Don't buy!

I have learned never to review an item I bought till a month later. Am I glad I waited to write this review. I ordered two solar lights. The first two nights they worked great. Very bright, very pretty colors. Third night came and only one light worked. The next night would only come on for about three minutes than would shut off. I called the manufacturer who told me I would have to go thru Amazon. I called Amazon who promptly sent me another solar light as long as I sent back the bad one. Three days later got the one Amazon sent and guess what, that one didn't work. So now I had two solar lights that weren't working. These lights are a piece of junk! I know they are not expensive but this has been the most frustrating online purchase I have ever made.
