Customer Review: Works great on visors.. not so much on eye glasses..

I am giving this product a four star rating due to how well it works on motorcycle visors. I apply it to my visor and it never fogs regardless of temperature and weather. Very good product for use on visors. It has never been able to stop my eye glasses from fogging though. It isn't alone in this. I have tried a number of products including Cat Crap, Scotts Anti-Fog cloths, Fogtech and a few other products. None of them seem to work for the eyeglasses. I tried it on 3 pairs of glasses I own. 2 pairs of clear eyeglasses and 1 pair of prescription sunglasses, and it fails on all 3. It isn't like I haven't given it a fair shot. The only thing that seems to work for this is the use of "breath box" inside the helmet. Not the little breath guards that come with the helmet, but the soft boxes that come up over the nose and force your breath downward such as the Respro Foggy Mask
I wouldn't even take off the 1-Star for it not working on eyeglasses (since no other product I have tried has done better) if it wasn't for the fact that they advertise "eyeglasses" as one of their applications. My guess is it will work fine on typical sunglasses as well, just not eyeglasses. I am only guessing here, but maybe due to the coatings they put on eyeglasses? Anti-scratch, UVA, anti-glare etc.
In addition to working well on motorcycle visors I use it to clean the eyepiece of my DSLR and it prevents it from fogging from my breath in the winter as well. All around I think it is an excellent product if you are looking for an anti-fog product for any application besides eyeglasses.
