Customer Review: Poorly Designed - Does Not Lock

This lockset has a lock, but it does not work. After installing the latch, I engaged the lock and tested the outside door lever. It only took one or two half-hearted jiggles of the handle for the lock to slip open. Figuring I got a defective product, I uninstalled and returned it. Unfortunately, when I received the replacement, it had the exact same problem. This is just a very poorly designed product. If you don't want or need to lock your screen or storm door, then it is fine - but if you do, look elsewhere.
