I was trying to get the same results with a single closer on a wrought iron door as the dual closers on the Stanley full view glass storm doors. I found that the touch button works better than the ones that are included with the Stanley because the closer can hold open at any angle and not be limited to notches in the rod like the Stanley.Also, the hold open feature can be activated before the door is opened, thereby not having to hold the door then set the lock.
The only feature that I found lacking is the ability to set the closer speed separately from a latch speed. Also the door closes more than I prefer before the pneumatic action kicks in...likely to get you in the but after the door is released. Time will tell if the closer lasts like the Stanley.
