These have very nice spring loaded handles that provide a great grip. The cutters are all sharp and tight. I cannot speak to longevity, but these fit the bill for me at a bit over $2 a tool.
My only complaint was that the straight needle nose pliers didn't pass my eyebrow test. What I do to test the real quality of needle nose is to try to pluck a hair from my eyebrow. It if pulls it, it will work for just about anything else.
The bent needle nose passed the test easily, but the straight needle nose could not grip the hair and has a visible gap between the tips. It is small, but you can see it. So these are not precision tools.
But at the price they are five star tools.
