This flashlight is awesome. I have three of them. If it flickers, you just tighten the caps on either end. It really doesn't work as well as a push button flashlight as a "twist the cap and it stays on" flashlight." Besides, you don't want it to work as a push button flashlight.
Just twist the cap to turn it on, and then twist the cap the other way to turn it off. If you keep it in your car like I do, just take one of the caps off all the way. It's a great, tiny flashlight that will impress all your friends and come in real handy. Get one. Rite-Aids sell them usually if you want to try one out.

This is actually the second time I have bought one of these lights (the first works fine but I needed another). I have had some flicker problems with the first, but none with this second. This second one works perfectly and throws out a lot of light using very little power. I am pleased and would buy yet again if I needed another. I subtract 1 star (giving 4 instead of 5) because of the flicker problems with the first, which I have had for over a year, and the pricing does seem a few dollars higher on Amazon than what I have seen elsewhere. 4 starsCustomer Review: VERY BRIGHT LIGHT!!!!
