At first, I was surprised by its compact size. Once I placed the batteries and turned it on, I was impressed by the brightness of the LED array. The white light appears to stretch a decent distance (several feet). I would buy another one and stop using older flashlights which require more expensive D cells.Customer Review: Worked well for a month

Nice flashlight at a low price. *However*, the honeymoon is over after a month. Mine, like others who have reviewed it, stopped working after a month. First it starts to flicker on and off, then it stops working entirely.
Think of it as a disposable product only. If you want quality get a Mag-Lite.

I had a really nice one of these that I completely over paid for--then my daughter lost it. I found these on Amazon, and because the price was so good, I decided to get all three of us one. They came quickly, smartly packaged, and they are exactly as described. Even the batteries are better than I expected!! I use it all the time, and have never had any problems--perfect as they are small and very bright and easily fit in pocket. Customer Review: Light Your Night

It is what it says it is, super bright and heavy duty. I gave one to my 10 year old about a month ago and it is still working. That may not sound like much but considering the previous five that he went through, I think it says a lot. Customer Review: One was DOA, one stopped working after a week

Cheap Chinese junk. Poorly made, low quality parts. One was DOA, one died after a few uses, and the third one is iffy. Yea, they are cheap - and they show it. Not reliable in the least. I own several LED lights - these are the worst - period.
