Customer Review: Get a Dorcy or Fenix, still very cheap..tons better quality

This torch is cheap enough that you probably would not necessarily be dissappointed, but after I got this I discovered Dorcy and Fenix brands so this one will be regulated to a very non-critical bag or drawer.
If I had to say something nice, it is very light. That is about it for the positive aspect. The idea of all the LEDs was appealing to me until the first bulb went out after twenty minutes of use, and two more were out before the first set of batts ran out.
It is just crappy quality and I have a single lamp, 1 AAA Fenix keychain light that seems just as bright.
Spend a extra buck or two for kne of the other brands I mentioned, you may not be as impresses as I am, but at least they won't start failing on the first battery.

Amazon should NOT SELL this flashlight; it has LEAD in it. I was shocked to read the Warning (which is printed so small it is impossible to read without a magnifying glass.)

Small size, rugged aluminum case, VERY bright, and a switch that is hard to turn on by accident. This thing is almost perfect. When on in the pitch dark of the woods, I could see about 20-30 feet with a similar amount width wise (at its widest). It comes with a handy dandy wrist strap and batteries (which you should prob swap for some name brand).
My only gripe is I've experienced the "intermittent" lighting issue where the spring has trouble connecting to the battery. A quick smack/shake cured it while in the woods and a pad of aluminum foil fixed the issues with the lighting. If it hadn't have had this, it would have easily gotten 5 stars.
Even with the gripe, this is by far an excellent deal @ only $2.

This is an extremely poorly developed product that could not be worth more than a dollar. Made from very thin aluminum, when you insert the batteries you will discover that screwing the cap on and off is very difficult as the threading almost immediately warps. The button to turn the device on and off wore out on mine in less than a week. The flashlight is not bright enough for outdoor use and the photographs online make it look to be constructed of firmer and sturdier than it actually is; $5.95 is not a deal or bargain by any means. After buying one through Amazon, as an impulse addition to other purchases, I discovered that that gas station I frequent sells them as well, they come in a huge box, and he was charing $2 a piece.Customer Review: More than worth the money

I purchased 3 of these lights, as I was looking for a good light to keep in our vehicles and at my computer desk. Once they arrived I liked them so much that I immediately ordered 5 more. I gave 1 to my best friend and set 4 aside in our emergency kit that my family has for disasters or emergencies. These lights are small and put out a remarkable amount of light for their size. Since they are small, they're easily carried in your pocket, a backpack, or you could carry them on a neck chain as they weigh next to nothing. If there is a disaster, we will have light. All 8 of the ones I ordered worked perfectly. To make the deal better, they come with 3 AAA batteries included. We all know how much batteries are anymore.
