Excellent little light, I have bought a few for camping and more for friends. Only one caution, when installing the batteries read the markings. As I am guessing this may be the problem with some of the self absorbed geniuses on here who can't get this light to work. One battery goes + side down the other 2 are + towards the bulb end. As far as light goes, this little light will light up an entire campsite with white light and blind anyone you shine it at close range. My boys have been using these flashlights at summer camp and around the house for about a year. My oldest uses his to read in bed. I just found one under a bed with the clear plastic lens and LED piece out and on the floor. I pushed all the pieces back in and it worked. I also discovered it is still on the first set of 3 AAA batteries. This is a cheap flashlight and I would not buy it for myself (I'd want something to last forever) but I think it is an excellent choice at *six-tee* percent off the list price for camp if there is the chance it will be lost.Customer Review: You Get What You Pay For

I needed several small flashlights so I purchased one to evaluate quality - good thing I did because they don't seem any good. The sample I received does not work at all (that is, there is no light output). I put fresh batteries in it but that didn't help. I checked for loose or missing parts but could find no obvious cause for the failure.
I then purchased 6 Sears Craftsman LED flashlights for $7.50 on sale. Every one of them works perfectly.
(I gave it a one star rating only because I couldn't give it a zero star rating.)

Having seen the balanced numbers of very positive and very negative reviews I took a chance on this LED flashlight. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones as my flashlight has worked well for over a week. I also bought one as a gift. Fortunately the gift also has worked well. This flashlight lives up to its name 'Super-Bright'. I would highly recommend this flashlight only if you're willing to risk getting some defective ones and dealing with potential returns. If you're one of the lucky ones and receive a working flashlight you'll be quite happy.Customer Review: Cheap. Non-functional. Don't buy.

Not sure what you (and I) are expecting for less than $6, but we're getting what we paid for.
The flashlight won't stay on. The slightest movement causes it to lose contact and power off. There is a short somewhere. I can't find it.
I tried to make it work reliably, but it jsut won't behave.
Helpful Tip: Smack it. Wack it. Throw it. It'll turn on... for a few seconds. Then the next slightest movement will cause it to turn off again. Oh? That wasn't helpful? Sorry.
