I bought two of these after reading others's reviews, and needless to say I was not disappointed. Both flashlights are quite bright, and throw light a good 25 feet pretty easily. though perhaps not quite as powerful as a AA maglight in terms of distance, they completely outshine AA maglights when lighting anything within 20 feet of you.
At this price, I would definitely recommend picking up a few to keep around your house, car, boat or wherever.

I bought 5 & gave everyone in the family one (and 2 for me) which made the total cost per light around $3.50 including shipping. I work in industrial maintenance so I'm pretty abusive on a daily basis to one light - and it's still lighting up bright with the generic batteries that it came with. Couldn't be happier! The other light - well, don't leave it in the car when it gets to 108 degrees outside. It still works, but the lens popped out && needed reglued.Customer Review: Very good, inexpensive flashlight

I bought a few of these on a whim with another purchase. They turned out to be very good units with a broad, bright beam. They are small and light. I've now purchased eight of them and gave them to my wife for her car, a nurse friend who works nights and needed a small flashlight for her purse. I've stuck them in desks, my car console, my tool kits - anywhere I needed a flashlight. This is a nice little flashlight for $4. It's plenty bright, has a nice positive click on/click off switch (in the end, so you hit it with your thumb when you're holding it in your fist with the light pointing out the pinkey finger side of your fist), and has a good weight. Comes with 3 AAA batteries and a lanyard (not pictured). I'll be buying another for my other vehicle next time I need just $4 more to get free Super Saver shipping.Customer Review: Will serve its intended purpose

I needed something small that i could just leave in the car's glove box in case i ever had to stop at night and have to look under the hood. I was not impressed by the quality of this flashlight, and the light it makes is disappointing for LED technology, but it will do for what i need, and with its current price tag i cannot complain too much.
If you're looking for a quality flashlight though, this is unfortunately not your stop.
