I used the dryer balls for about 5 months before one split in half. I contacted the company to request a replacement, but two weeks later I have not received a reply . Oh well. It's not a big loss since I never noticed a shorter drying time or softer clothes when I was using them. As for the claim that they are eco-friendly, I recently discovered that they are made of highly toxic PVC plastic.Customer Review: Cracked like an egg

I didn't get the least expensive dryer balls because I thought they would be junk. I used my regular liquid softener anyway, so I'm not sure if it softens clothes, but I thought maybe it would save some energy by cutting drying time. I think it maybe has, but I'm not sure. On about the 2nd time I used it, one of them cracked and broke like an egg. There goes $7.50. So much for value!Customer Review: works!

Got this as a Xmas present. I was skeptical at first, but after trying it, I haven't stopped using it. I noticed the amount of lint from the lint screen significantly reduced, and it really helps when drying bulky items. I tried the cheaper version from Target, but they don't seem to work much other than making lots of noise in the dryer.Customer Review: Busted after 2 months!

I bought a set of these in order to save on dryer sheet costs, and within 2 months of usage (4-5 loads/week) one of them has busted open and is now not usable. One thing I will give these guys credit for it that because of their shape they didn't get stuck in my clothes like the last round set I had. I just wish they'd have lasted longer.Customer Review: Static free!

I got this for my brother and his bride for their wedding. I have a similar product that I use whenever I do laundry and just love them. My clothes are static free and are much softer since I've been using them. It's definitely better than dryer sheets and better for the environment. I would suggest these to everyone - and I have.
