Seem to be OK but not as good as I expected. Looks like they have some problems with quality control. I had to file one of the male ends some before I could get it to go into the female connector. They are made in China now so what can you expect. Also I consider them to be overpriced for a Chinese import.Customer Review: Nelson brass fixtures last forever

I bought some of the Nelson plastic connectors a few years ago, when I could not find the brass ones. They started cracking and leaking within a year or two. My dad has some of the Nelson brass fittings that are over 50 years old and still work fine. My own brass fixtures work just fine after 10 years.Customer Review: Handy

Best hose/device-coupling gizmo I've ever had!!! Seals well, and very easy to snap/un-snap. Wish I had found something like this long ago; is way better than various plastic types I've used for over 30 years; the plastic ones deteriorate relatively fast. I tried plastic connectors. They kept disconnecting while I was using hose. I would frequently get sprayed and on one occasion had to change clothes. Purchased Nelson brass connectors. The connection is much better! Spend the few extra bucks!!Customer Review: Mine leaked

Mine leaked -- first a tiny leak, then a geyser.
Drove to Home depot and bought a plastic one. Half the price, no leaks.
The problem is: is it worth it to return a defective $5 item?
