I bought this to water my front lawn which is very very long and thin, so it an awkward shape and I usually end up mostly watering the street in front of my house if I use a traditional sprinkler. This Noodlehead sprinkler definitely allows you to point the streams in whichever direction you like, but there are not that many nozzles so some parts of the lawn remain unwatered. Its not so much a normal sprinkler mist, its more like a bunch of tiny individual streams of water - more like a fountain than a sprinkler. I think it would definitely work great for a small garden where you only want to direct water at shrubs and flowers. Overall a pretty neat concept and works as promised.Customer Review: I love it.

This noodlehead really works for me. I have a small city garden that is not your usual kind of shape. It curves around the bow shape of the house. Some long narrow areas along edges and some plants located away from everything else. I purchased 3 of them and tried one out this afternoon. Be prepared to get wet setting it up. I intend to connect it all with "Y" connections and custom lengths of hose. I wouldn't use this for any regular shape garden. If you have a round or rectangular shape just get a regular kind of sprinkler. But, if like me, you have an odd shape garden and don't like watering the house, walk, patio and patio furniture this might be just what you need.Customer Review: Really fussy

The Noodlehead worked fine, up to a point. The sprays from each Noodle went up to about eight feet away. Each Noodle doesn't really spray a lot of water, so be prepared to point three to six noodles at one spot if you want to really cover a specific area.
I also found bending the noodles to be vey fussy and time-consuming. Often the Noodles bent back up over time and had to be repositioned. I finally gave up and got a traditional oscillating sprinker. That worked pretty well, and didn't have to be readjusted.
My bottom line: it's a fussy novelty that might be perfect for some folks, but I won't be buying more than the one I tried.

Maybe I didn't read carefully enough, but it surprised me that it was so small. I guess it does what it says it will, but again, I was surprised how fussy it was to get aimed the way you want. Once you get it set, you don't want to mess with it any more. I think this was discussed in the description. I should have paid more attention. Also, as suggested, being able to adjust the flow with an added shut-off valve helps a lot.
I can see it being most useful mounted in a semi-permanant location. I was looking for something more portable and versatile. I don't regret buying one. I'm looking for just the right place for it.
Customer Review: Item not as solid looking as the picture

I just received this last week and immediately noticed something obvious. The item itself is not as solid/durable looking as the picture shown on Amazon. The tip of each noodle is a silver colored plastic head, not the aluminum/metal looking tip shown on the picture. Overall I was a little taken back by the visual differences which for me immediately implies lower quality and construction. I will try to get some photos taken and submit for this product so you can see the real thing. I have yet to get a chance to try the product out, so can't comment on performance.
