i've been using this incense for over 10 years now. the sandalwood scent is my favorite out of all the others offered by morning star. i have tried a lot of different brands over the years and Morning Star incense is one of the best on the market. i judge the incense by how natural smelling they are. for me, the less perfume smelling, the better. these have a more woody, earthy smell rather than a "nag champa" perfumie smell. if you like a natural sandalwood scent than i think you'll be happy with these. and amazon has a great price for them.Customer Review: Favorite Incense

The smell of sandalwood is deep but not overpowering. It does not smell too sweet or artificial. It is my favorite incense. However, I find that the aroma does not linger in the air as long as other brands I have used. Also, I dislike the type of stick it is. There is no thin piece of wood at the end to stick in a holder. Luckily, a little incense holder comes with the package.
The package is a treat in and of itself and seems to arouse the curiosity of visitors. Overall a great product.

The odour of the incenses is perfect. I thought this was a bad purchase when the package arrived because I noticed they aren't like the other ones. These ones don't have a wooden stick, so I couldn't use the other incense stands I had. I noticed (after a while) that an incense stand came with the incenses! It's made of ceramic, it's a beautiful blue ceramic square with the design of a flower carved in it. No other word but perfect!Customer Review: good scent, but it fades quickly

I dig the red Japanese box and the incense smells good, but the smell fades quicker than other incense I have used. Good quantity for the price. Decent quality. The "incense stand" is a 2cm by 2cm square tile with a hole in the middle, allowing the stick to stand up and drop ash everywhere. Good with a bowl underneath.Customer Review: Great Incense!

I have ordered many Sandalwoods before, but always go back to this one by MorningStar. Smells nice and musky, with no hint of sweetness (as some others do). I burn it when I have guests over and always get compliments on how wonderful my home smells. I love this incense!
