This product replaced an old suction cup stick-on version that housed an actual thermometer (which eventually just fell out) and was very hard to read. This new thermometer is easy to install and much easier to read than the last one. Like other reviewers, I noted the shipping cost was greater than the price of the item, but it did arrive timely and I was able to immediately begin using and enjoying the product. It does stick out from the window a bit, so be careful which window you choose if you have sliding windows. All in all, I'm please with the purchase and would recommend this thermometer to others who want to know the temperature without getting their reading glasses on!Customer Review: Some Work, Some Don't

I purchased 4 of these. Opened inside the house for several days, it was clear that 2 worked reasonably ok and 2 were hopelessly off. One working thermometer was placed as directed (not in direct sunlight) on a window to the front porch, and one was placed on the back porch window, directly opposite . Right now there is a twelve degree difference between the two!! So, while the idea of these thermometers is great, I'm not sure how helpful they are. They do stick to the windows quite well, and I like that they are very easy to read. Now, if they were only more accurate...
I would have returned them, but the shipping cost quite a bit in relation to the product cost.

I purchased three of these thermometers for various windows in my house. When the package arrived I removed all three from the packaging
and tested all against the known indoor temperature. Two of the thermometers were plus or minus three degrees of the standard however one
was ten degrees under the known temperature. I tried to contact the manufacturer to see if there was a way to adjust the reading but got
no response. The retailer sent the items in original packaging in a rapid manner. All three cling to the windows as advertised.

After looking at the many choices for an outdoor temperature thermometer that could be mounted on the window I chose this one. It was for my mother who lives in a senior apartment and who needed to know how warmly to dress before she went outside. This thermometer fit the bill. It was very easy to apply - just wipe the window clean and press it on - no water or screws or suction cups! The numbers are large, distinct and easy to see. I installed 2 of the Electrostatic Cling Outdoor Window Thermometers on 2 sun-proof locations. The windows are different: one is double-panel, the other is not. The results are also different: an average of 3 Fahrenheit degrees between the two. Is the inside temperature influencing the outside results? It is not supposed to.
But, all-together it is nice to learn from inside, how cold is outside and....at a very reasonable price.
