This is a great outdoor thermometer for daytime use. It is transparent except for the numbers and is very accurate when compared to other electronic thermometers that I have. Its negatives are that it must be placed on a window that the sun doesn't hit and when it's dark outside , its invisible. The price is very low, but the shipping from Northern Tool and Equipment was more than the price of the thermometer.Customer Review: Great, simple, inexpensive thermometer

The product arrived sooner than I'd expected. It was very easy to install. To gauge its accuracy, I also placed a liquid column thermometer (didn't install - just placed) nearby. The Electrostatic Cling Outdoor Window Thermometer is very accurate and easy to view. This is one case where the least expensive also was the most useful and best performing. I recently ordered three of these, one for home, one for my vacation home, and one for work. They are absolutely fabulous. The static cling is great, even in the highest winds they don't blow off. The only thing is, you really must keep them out of the direct sunlight because if they are not, the readings get ridiculously high. The print is large enough to read clearly, and they are very accurate.Customer Review: see through temps

I think this is the perfect little gift. I gave one to my kids for their dorm windows, my in-laws for their bathroom window and we have one in the kitchen. It is both readable and non-intrusive to the outside view. Now, with a quick glance in the morning, everyone has a good idea on how to dress. I knew what the intown temperature was from watching the morning news, but I was wondering what the outside temperature was in my yard some 10 miles from downtown. This static cling thermometer was the perfect solution ... no drilling, no snaking of a wire from outside. The thermometer doesn't block your view through the window either.
