Tools and Hardware Reviews of Electrostatic Cling Outdoor Window ThermometerCustomer Review: window thermometer Summary: 4 Stars
This is a very simple device that works very well indeed. Because it is attached to a window you have to factor in the influence of the indoor temperature through the glass, so it usually reads about 2 degrees higher than the actual outdoor temperature. No batteries - yay! Easy to read, too.
Customer Review: VERY PLEASED Summary: 3 Stars
Very good product, am well pleased with it. It works like it is supposed to. I put it on the outside of my storm door, it clings very well, and is easy to read when I open my inside door. Very good service, delivered in a reasonable amount of time.
I'd recommend this company to anyone.
Customer Review: Misses the mark Summary: 1 Stars
Easy to apply to window and easily visible; however, like other similar thermometers attached to a outside window, it consistently reads 8-10 degrees TOO warm, as it is probably reading temperature transmitted from warmer inside. So, if you want ACCURATE readings, find another product.
Customer Review: Not so good; not so bad Summary: 2 Stars
I bought three of these. One fastened to a sheltered window works find. Two fastened to windows which get more exposure to wind and weather keep falling off--and, when they do, parts of the numbers pull off the dial and stick to the glass. Two out of three: not a great investment.
Customer Review: Exactly as expected. Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased a similar item years ago from Brookstone and it has always worked well, in really variable weather conditions. This one was not purchased at Brookstone but is basically the same product and so far, is working exactly as expected. Certainly worth the price to me.
