Customer Review: Good, Sturdy Paper-Towel Holder

This holder is not too heavy and is very sturdy. The rooster screws off from the top to allow the papertowels to be put on. It's a simple, basic design overall. The color and design is very nice. The only problem I had was when I first opened the package and discovered a chip on the tip of the short rod that tears the papertowels. It isn't very noticable when it is turned to one side.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to add some flavor to their kitchen or someone who is a fan of roosters.

This paper towel holder is extraordinarily beautiful, with a high gloss, porcelain appearance over a heavy iron frame. I am able to tear a towel off one-handed without the holder tipping or turning. The rooster on top unscrews for towel replacement, which isn't as easy as some of the "pop on, pop off" holders, but the look of this holder outweighs any inconvenience. This is a terrific, heavy weight paper towel holder. You have to unscrew the head to take towels off and put them on, so it takes a moment, but it's really adorable. Heavy enough to rip a towel off it without having to use two hands, which is way above the usual counter top paper towel holders. And the red is deep and lovely.Customer Review: It is cute and heavy. You have to put everything together to use it and
you have to take the top part off to put the paper towel in,
which is harder than other paper towel holder.
However, it is not a expensive item, I think it is good for what you paid!
It matches everything in kitchen. I am happy with my purchase!
