to make the opening wide enough to fit stemware with a base diameter of 3"? I mean really my balloon glasses don't fit because the base is too wide by .4 inches. So although it appears well made it was not well thought, thus 1 BIG FAT *! On the bright side? Now I know the diameter of my balloon glasses!Customer Review: Check your stemware base size b4 buying!

I have 2 types of wine glasses and both have too large of bases to fit in this holder. My champagne flutes fit fine. The inside opening dimension is under 3" and the way I have the unit installed I can't even angle my glasses in. Fine otherwise.Customer Review: its alright

once the rack was up it was supposed to hold a certain base width, the problem is that it doesnt. very small based rack. once we put the other glasses up that actually fit it looked fine just wish the glasses i bought the rack for couldve fit.Customer Review: Good product

Excellent product. Heavy gage wire with extremely easy installation. I was going to build my stemware racks, but after seeing these decided to try them and boy am I glad. Highly recommended.
