Ah, the little things in life are what make life's little pleasures so rich....or something like that! My HAND-HELD Oxygenics shower head is fantastic! I had been using the Oxyenics stationary head for years and have always loved the technology. It just feels better to know that my shower is "oxygen rich" and that my skin is getting hydrated with all of that extra oxyen and water which the brochure says is good for me. Now comes the HAND-HELD Oxygenics head which is even better because....well.....because...well, I can now rinse very directly in the most private of places and let me tell you, it feels good not to have any residue soap left over in those (ahem) places after a shower. I feel so much cleaner and that's no exaggeration! The shower head also allows me to get wetter so much quicker, all over. The angle and amount of water coming from the nozzle gets my entire head wet all at once, which allows for a quicker shower and a more thorough cleaning of my hair. I am telling you, this product is the shnizzle! So do yourself a favor and take the leap to the Oxygenics HAND-HELD shower head! I bought two of these shower heads for my home (actually from Sharper Image)for $49.95. I bought retail because I wanted to be able to return them if I didn't like it and not pay shipping.
We live in a home with low pressure water and these shower heads provide a high pressure shower that feels great. They are much better than the old shower heads, which were also 2.5GPM heads, but had non where near the pressure. When you take a hot shower with this shower head, you really feel it.
On the downside, it is made of plastic -- so I don't know how long lasting they will be. I do wish they would make a higher end all metal version that would give a high end bathroom a better look. My experience with plastic anything has never been great but we will see what happens.
The technology seems sound with how they mix the oxygen into the water. Works exactly as described. Whole family likes them much better including teenage daughter.
They are easy to install. Be sure to check for leaks and use plumber's tape to on the large threaded parts.

I was looking for a replacement for my old "Shower Massage" that would consume less water. The old model sucked up 7.5 gallons per minute. This one uses a maximum of 2.5 gpm. For standard, non-hose variety shower heads, I found lots of alternatives. This one was one of the few that has a hose extension, which I prefer to help me clean the shower stall.
Teflon tape was included in the package, which made installation much easier--I didn't have to go out and buy a pack of that. Put it together without any trouble, though I do confess to reading the directions. What was not included was a full description of the flow regulator, which can turn the water completely off while you lather up, should you so desire. When I first turned on the water to check my installation, the flow regulator was in the "off" position of the twist. This was a little alarming. Was forced to use grey cells to figure out what the problem was.
Now, having used this product, I would recommend it to anyone and fully intend to purchase it for my parents and sister. Absolutely a GREAT shower.

I bought this shower head after installing a new water heater and loosing almost all of my water pressure. I have long think hair and it was taking me forever to wash it. SO I did a search for a pressure increasing shower head. I found plenty but hardly any of them were hand held is a must for us since we have small children. This one had rave reviews and I got it for a good price here at Amazon.com. Its an improvement and it now takes me 3 minutes to wash my hair and it does feel well rinsed instead of the never rinsed clean feeling. So technically I got what I was looking for; adequate pressure, hand held shower head. I just feel like for the reviews it had received and the price and the claims, I wanted water beating my muscles into relaxation. Not the case. More like regular old average pressure with the bonus of low flow. My husband likes it more than me. And again it is adequate so not too many complaints just be clear if you have low water pressure this is not the miracle you're looking for but it might be the best for the hand helds at a reasonable price.Customer Review: finally clean!!

I live in the middle of nowhere, where cable and running water don't even reach. I love my house and the location but it leaves me wanting sometimes. We have a well and my water pressure leaves something to be desired. I had tried everything to better my showering experience, especially since I have very long hair and takes a long time to rinse. When I stumbled onto this product, I hoped and prayed that it would work better than all of the other things that I've tried . . . my finally clean and shiny hair and I are hear to tell you that this is the most amazing shower head!!!! The most expensive my frugile self has ever splurged on, but the best one for the job!!! I was in and out of the shower in a quarter of my old time and my hair was completely rinsed; and in no time it was dry and softer than I've felt it in a very long time!
I hope this review helps you - this shower head has certainly made my life so much easier and more efficient and I can only hope that I expressed it enough in this blog.
