I have had this product for a little over 1 year and I am unable to clean it. There is a plastic coating on the face of the showerhead that is growing mold under it, and I am unable to clean it out no matter what I have tried. The chrome finish is also beginning to flake off. The shower itself is nice, and I love the adjustable lever to save water, but this is in essence a 1 year throw-away. At the price point it should last longer than that.Customer Review: Saves water but not without compromise

We've been using this showerhead for a few years now. The water pressure in our shower has never been great and this showerhead was billed as magically having a forceful stream in spite of low water pressure. Saving water was also a great bonus.
If you are looking for a high-velocity, high-volume showerhead, do not purchase this product -- the stream is high-velocity but LOW volume. It takes longer to rinse shampoo out of your hair despite the high velocity stream because the volume of water delivered is simply less -- this is consistent with the water-saving properties of this showerhead, even at max flow. The stream more cone-shaped and is something like air mixed with fine water droplets which shoots out in fine water pellets. Because of the size of the water droplets, the water can feel stinging on the skin. It doesn't particularly bother me but my toddler freaks out and thinks she's being bitten (!) It's also very noisy ... almost like a loud constant hissing sound.
The last thing is that the showerhead is huge. It's difficult to gauge this from the pictures; this is something to keep in mind if your showerhead pipe sits relatively low in the shower -- this thing will extend quite a distance below it, and the range of adjustment of the head is rather limited. This forces me (5'11") to slouch and bend my knees to rinse my hair when this was never the case with a traditional showerhead.
We're keeping it because I'd rather save water and be mildly inconvenienced by the issues described above. That being said, I prefer showering in our other shower which has a Delta 75152 showerhead.

I was told that this 'low flow' showerhead would actually increase water pressure and they were absolutely right. I live in an older house where the water pressure definitely suffers and this Oxygenics 5 Star Resort Spa Showerhead lives up to the hype..............increased the water pressure while saving me 1 gallon per minute of water. This also means I pay less to heat the hot water as I am using much less. Unbelievable!

The handle should not only change the pressure but should provide a shut off as well.
Of course you can still turn off the shower knobs.
It works better than antipicated.
