There are about two thousand showerheads out there on Amazon, and while I can't speak for all of them, I can say this is the best one I've ever used, by far. I live up on a hill and the water pressure is terrible, but this showerhead greatly boosts the amount of pressure I feel, without losing the size of the stream. I'm not sure how the physics of this works; I just know it makes for a great shower, and what is it- thirty dollars? Something like that. If you have a wimpy showerhead get one of these and give it a try. I even bought one for a friend- these are one of the few "gadgets" that I've ever purchased that lived up to it's promise. This easy to install showerhead will transform even the poorest water pressure into an adjustable flow shower with all the pressure you could want! We've had an Oxygenics showerhead in one bathroom that we got from Sharper Image over 5 years ago and still works great. This one works perfectly as well, and you can't beat the price for the difference it will make in your shower. I highly recommend this to anyone who has low water pressure in their shower or wants to conserve water -- it's great for both! I also love the way you can easily adjust the flow of water during a shower using the little handle on the side of the showerhead.

I bought this shower head to replace the standard head that came with the house, which is just too sparce of a spray.
Initially, the Oxygenics spray felt too forcefull and stung a little like being on a speedboat in the rain. Unfortunately, our shower hardware does not allow you to turn down the pressure without turning the water colder. Also, I didn't feel I was getting a good soak. Immediately after a shower, it seemed I had already toweled off somewhat compared to my standard shower head.
It may be worth a try if your hardware allows you to turn the pressure down while maintaining a hot shower. Otherwise, I'd try something else.

I live in a 100 yr old top floor flat in San Francisco. I love my home and my only lament had been the low-pressure shower. I literally would take baths as opposed to standing in the measly spray offered by my shower. Well, a bit of research on the internet lo-and-behold......the Oxygenetics skin care. It has increased the water pressure by a factor of 10. The spray is mixed with Oxygen and comes out like the stream at a top-notch gym. It is luxurious, strong enough to easily rinse the soap from my hair, strong enough to be pleasurable. Plus, the oxygen mixed with the water makes my skin feel soft afterwards.Customer Review: Jet-like!

I installed one of these last week, and performance-wise, its definately an upgrade over the showerhead I replaced. Although I don't have a problem with water pressure in my home, the pressure of this unit is excellent, and the added attribute of water savings is a definite plus.
The spray from the unit feels fantastic, and makes rinsing off go more quickly. However, I have been wondering, does anyone else using this model think its a little loud? The promo touts the shower as a place of peace and quiet... actually at times it resembles showering with a 737. Maybe its just me?
