Customer Review: Mostly great shower

This particular model has three setting. The powerful jet (the patented feature which it is all about) is great. It really feels like the water is powering dirt and soap from your body and out of your hair (it's kind of like the twist nozzle on a garden hose. When you turn to close it the water flow reduces, but the water feels more harsh if you hold it against your skin). The other two setting (while they are probably as powerful as any other shower head) actually feel weak by comparison to the jet setting. The "Hydro Flow" setting (or as I like to call it "the Bubbles") feels very nice and is great for sensitive areas you may not want to expose to the jet (e.g. the face or maybe an injury). The third setting is just streams of water coming out of the nozzles that form the outer most ring. Personally, I don't really see the need for that setting. The only thing I don't like about the shower head is it's size and weight. Even though I tightened it as hard as I could, the weight of the showerhead actually forces it to droop when attached to its holder.Customer Review: Good looks with useable settings.

This is a good looking product that actually has usable settings. I like the middle/traditional Oxygenics setting, the wife likes the coarse setting, and the fine setting is great for rinsing the shower after cleaning, etc. It's also very easy to change the settings because the whole head turns, not just the sprinkle part. My prior shower head had similar settings but only the face turned, and not very easily, so this is a welcome feature since I can use my entire hand to twist. Basically, we change the settings often which is the whole reason for the multiple settings. Now to the reason way only 4 stars not 5; I purchased this brand because of it's reputation for producing water-efficient designs and I thought this product would reduce my per shower water usage. However, this particular shower-head only meets the minimum standard GPM for shower-heads, which is the same GPM than one that it replaced. Regardless, I am very happy with purchasing this product.Customer Review: It was okay

This shower head is very big. When i want to hold the shower head and rinse my back, I can't do it because the shower head is too big and heavy. It is harder when there's soap too. There are three modes to this shower head, first mode is just a shower spray, nothing special. I dislike this spray mode because the water is sprayed in a very wide diameter. The second mode is the high velocity mode. It's very strong it's good. But the spray diameter is very small for this mode. The last mode is a medium velocity splash mode. Once again, it's good when it comes to the velocity, but I dislike the fact that spray diameter is very small.
Conclusions:
I would buy this if you want to try something new. Any massaging shower head would do the same. It's not that special compared to other shower heads.

It accomplishes what it is supposed to in that it does create a selection of somewhat powerful pressurized flow. The twenty-year old WaterPik that I needlessly replaced was more effective, had a longer hose and less heavy head that was easier to utilize when hand-held. This item was not inexpensive and, unless it had cost $30 or less, I am disappointed in the purchase. Further, two parts were missing, though neither prevented installation - the Teflon tape and a washer. More disconcerting, the item is packaged in a flimsy, plain white box with no identification, the caliber that is common in dollar stores. My suspicion is that I'd have fared better with a different selection for this cost of nearly $60.Customer Review: pleased so far

Have been pleased with the purchase thus far. Mainly bought to conserve water. Also liked the claim that whatever material was used to make shower head would NEVER clog due to mineral deposits. Our old shower head would need to be soaked in CLR every couple of months. Have not had the Oxygenics long enough to know if that claim is true or not, remains to be seen. As far as the claim that this shower head has so much more oxygen and all the health benefit claims, not sure on that one. A shower at 6 in the morning is never exciting or invigorating so those claims are a bit of a stretch. But, overall I have been pleased with product so far.
