Customer Review: GREAT ITEM - A must for runners

I bought this for my husband who is an avid runner and he was always coming home and laying his shoes everywhere after running because they are wet from sweat or the rain. I gave this to him for Christmas and he has used it every time after running. The directions say to leave it on all the time, I was unsure about this since it is in the bedroom, but you do not hear anything.
This is a great product for runners, or other athletes who need to have their shoes dried. This also works for my toddlers shoes (they fit somewhat on it). Great price for a wonderful product!

Works great to dry your shoes or boot liners but it does take awhile if they are really soaked. It uses the simple principal of hot air rising, there is no fan or anything like that, so it isn't real speedy but it is silent. Oh, and do NOT use it without the foot forms in place. I did, trying to dry some gloves, and it caused the tubes to warp and melt -- my own fault, the instructions did say not to do that, but I forgot. Too bad there isn't a label right on the device as a reminder. Oh well, it still works, just isn't as "pretty" anymore.Customer Review: Shoe Dryer

When I recieved this product it was not exactly what I thought it should be. I thought it would more of a fan type system, but it is a small heating element. My reason for purchase is I have to wear rubber irrigation boots all day and athletes foot is a huge problem, since I started using the dryer I have had no problems. I put my boots on the dryer when I come home from work and take them off the next morning and then sprinkle in some plain baby powder and off to work I go with no AF. I originally bought this to give to my brother for Christmas. However, I had to try it out to see how it worked. I ended up keeping it for myself. I dry out my Nikes eveyday. You just can't beat the feeling of putting on nice and toasty dry shoes in the morning. Hopefully this will help with fungus problems too. One small problem, it could use an on/off switch. I will be gettng one of those cord switches you can splice into the cord and it will be great. Its a bit of a hassel plugging and unplugging every day.Customer Review: Should have bought two

Both me and my husben work outside and last winter we were soaked all the time. When I saw the shoe dryer I bought one. We tryed it out and knoticed that the manual was right it did get ridd of the shoe oder. So I should have got two as now my husben and kids shoes are always on the dryer and mine are always soked. So I am getting a second one. It is great as we just leave it in the entry by the door it takes up no space and it is very quiet. we have it on all the time and there is alwyas a shoe on it.
