These arrived loose, in a bag, in the usual Amazon shipping box. They were not affixed to a card as shown in the product photo. As a result, the bars were a bit beat up and some were chipped. That didn't really impact the use of them but it was unexpected.
The little booklet is ok for helping you choose which compound to use for what materials. That's about it. For a polishing newbie, I'd appreciate a bit more info. I think I got decent results using this (pretty much mirror finish with few scratches) but it took some experimentation.
Description of 6 pc. Polishing Compound Kit
These polishing compounds are for buffing and polishing most metals including aluminum, brass, stainless steel, silver, gold, etc. and most plastics (cannot be used on low melting point plastics).
