It stops water from going down the drain real well. The water doesn't drain when I flip the switch though. Also the picture makes it look like sturdy metal but it's all plastic. It's chrome plated. Should mention this in description. Going back for a refund.Customer Review: Best bathtub stopper

I guess my tub is among the 10% that this device doesn't work with. I tried the thickest rings and couldn't get it to fit. The ones a hair smaller let water escape. Totally bummer, was really looking forward to a nice hot bath!Customer Review: Love it

I needed to replace the tub stopper in a 50+year old tub, and could not remove the original sleeve. This product fit perfectly and looks great. So much easier and CHEAPER than replacing the whole assembly. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
