so far so good. .have had it about six months now...I owned another pure filter that finally started leaking everywhere ..so I purchased the same one and it started leaking within six months ...so I switched the kind that I purchased to this one..it mounted easily and I like that you just push a button and it will come off the faucet so its out of the way if you need it to be...very easy to remove and just snaps back on ..great designCustomer Review: CALL PROCTER AND GAMBLE FOR FREE REPLACMENT

I have used PUR filters for 10 years. This is the most horrid model ever. Looks great when you first install it but chrome only emphasises grim and it breaks fast. Same issues as everyone else....leaks, cracks, etc. in less than a year. However I called P&G to complain and they sent me a coupon for a free replacement filter and faucet mount. We've been using this system for over 5 years. Makes the water taste GREAT! Huge difference from our lake water, especially in the summer when the algae goes crazy. However, the tap unit is cheaply made. I'm on my fourth one. The chrome covering cracks and breaks off after 5-6 months, and the joints spray water. Be prepared to buy new tap unit every year. This verion of the PUR filter is much improved over the previous model that we had. We like the vertical filter housing, the snap on fitting and that the unit can can fully rotate without leaking, so far. The cost was a bit less than the previous one. What we felt was problematical was the flipper switch (from tap to filter) seemed flimsy and not constructed substantially enough to avoid accidental damage to the mechanism.Customer Review: Unreliable product, slow customer service

I got this to replace another Pur faucet mount that had developed a crack after a year of use. The only reason I bought from the company again is that I still had new Pur filters on hand. This time, the faucet mount leaked. After several calls with Pur's customer service, the company sent an adaptor to fix the leak. A whole month passed between the time I first called customer service and the time that the problem got fixed.
