I BOUGHT THIS FILTER AS I HEARD THAT THE FAUCET WATER WASNT GOOD TO DRINK AND WASTING PLASTIC BOTTLES WAS NOT ECO-FREINDLY. ITS TRUE THAT IT DOES MAKE THE WASHING PLACE FOR KIND OF BIG POTS N PANS SMALL AND YOU SEE WATER BUBBLES INSIDE THE FILTER BUT SERIOUSLY THE WATER TASTES SOO GREAT ITS JUST SOO LIGHT AS COMPARED TO THE REGULAR FAUCET WATER WHICH IS HEAVY IT DOES ITS JOB AND FOR THE PRICE ITS REALLY GOOD.Customer Review: Pur filters

As we live on a farm that uses well water and you never know what chemicals or other things are in the water, my husband and I feel that the 3 stage pur water filters help us stay healthier and safer than drinking the well water without.
We've used this filtration system for 3 years and tell all our friends and family about it...we've had many change to it and they all feel it's a great system.

I like the Pur faucet-mounted water filters, but I never bought one because of the expense of replacement filters. However, here are their best filters for less than $10 each, and with each one lasting 2-3 months, it's extremely inexpensive. Combine these with one of the Pur vertical mount faucet filters (I had leaking issues with the horizontal mount), and you're set for clean, tasty water.

I have used these filters for about 3 years & they do what I want. I have a well in a rural area that has a problem with iron creatures that can become quite smelly at times & can be controled with clorox which has it's smell issues as well.They are not a health issues,just a smell issue & the filters control the smell issue very well as any partcuates that occure from time to time in well water.Customer Review: Great price, easy ordering

With the price of the 3-phase filters as much as twenty dollars for 1 at the grocery store, this is good deal from Amazon. Once again, easy to order and received quickly on super saver.
The only thing I don't like about this product is that you cannot recycle these. It would be great if Pur or Amazon had a recycling program. I'd probably pay 0.50 to 1.00 more per unit if I could!
