Just bought a package of these and noticed it says "Amazingly, it leaves behind healthful fluoride, along with a clean, fresh taste!"
Now I don't know about you but I have learned that fluoride is highly toxic (a by-product of aluminum manufacturing) it is also one of the main ingredients in some RAT POISON. I want a water filter to REMOVE fluoride not promote it!!! Do some research, fluoride is toxic and we have been programed to believe it helps reduce tooth decay! GET THIS: The ADA recently came out and said that too much of it actually creates tooth decay! Review: Pur stage 3 filter
Summary: 5 Stars this is an exellent water filtration system filter for the faucet, for anyone that doesn't have one, this is extremely great to purchase. We have florida water, and anyone that has florida water or knows somebody who has it knows how bad it is. this filter does a perfect job of purifying the water. these filters was an exellent buy from the seller we got them from, and buying 6 at one time last us probably 10 months or more. If u have kids and use them for all cooking and drinking, they may only last about a month, for me and the mrs. they last about a month and a half.

We originally purchased our Pur water filter on Amazon but upon installation it was defective. Contacted the manufacturer and it was promptly replaced with a coupon to re buy.
When it came time to replace the filter it did not take an economic genius to calculate the cost as one would have cost $15.00 but purchasing the 6 pack the price is less than $9.00 apiece which is a substantial savings, especially if you are retired and on a fixed income, or if you have monies to waste you then can purchase the filter individually.

I have a hard time finding 3 stage filters in this area..usually can only find 2 stage filters. When I can find 3 stage filters they cost around $11 a piece and can only find them in single packs...so you cant beat the value ..Ive been usuing a pur faucet filter for about three years and I wont do without it..Our city water is way over done with chlorine and if you dont use the filter you can smell the chlorine in the water..these filters make the water taste just like a good quality bottled water ..without the expense...
