It installed easily and was a perfect fit. My water tastes the same as the last filter. Honestly, what else can I say? I'm not a water quality engineer and I did not perform any tests. I'll take their word that it is doing what it is supposed to do. The thing fits and was the lowest priced option I saw when I purchased. We have had to replace this filter 4 times in less than 14 months. The pressure drops very quickly to an unusable level - it's then a trickle that takes 2 minutes to fill a glass. This system is poorly designed. I am never buying a Kenmore fridge again or one with the Pur system. Much better to use a brita pitcher: cheaper and faster to fill and pour.Customer Review: Lasted only 2 months

I usually buy the filters from sears for my kenmore fridge but thought of checking this one out for a change. The sears one lasts at least 6 months with similar usage but this one lasted only 2 months. I don't know whether the product gallon ratings are different between the two. If that is the case, sears one works out to be cheaper as it lasts longer.Customer Review: It's a filter... It filters...

I mean I guess it does, right? How do I know for sure it doing what it's meant to? I guess the fact I didn't die and/or get poisoned in some way makes for a positive review right? So yeah, it's a filter that for all intents and purposes, to the best of my knowledge, did what it was meant to do. Oh and it was super easy to install, real plus@!!Customer Review: As Advertised

Arrived in a timely manner.
Fits as it should be.
We will work on an external solution to filter our water before it goes into the fridge.
These filters last longer, are cheaper to get and can filter different things out of the water.
If money doesn't matter go for this product, nothing to complain about.
