Becarefull if you buy this item. I had to return mine since it doesn't fit all Whirlpool frigs. I would reccomend sticking with the whirlpool brand, it fits and the water tastes great. I was trying to save a couple of bucks and tried this one.Customer Review: Way cheaper than sears!

You can really taste the difference between filtered and unfiltered water; The filtered water tastes just like bottled water!

I had never changed one of these fridge water filters out before and was surprised at how easy it was. Just follow the instructions: ice maker off, twist the old one out, twist this one in and you're done! Back to great tasting ice and water.
