Really pleased. Especially the compression crimper seems to be of very high quality for such an inexpensive kit. I have read complaints in the past about inexpensive crimpers not working well or taking an inordinate amount of pressure to work, but this one is very smooth and does not require a lot of pressure from the user. The plastic stripper seems a little cheaply made, but it works fine. The intructions could be better. For example, I have seen some complaints from people who have had trouble with the stripper, and I can understand why. The intructions simply say to strip the cable, with no indication that to do so requires that the user twirl the stripper. Better instructions can be found by doing an Internet search. Overall this is an excellent kit for the money.

Due to the price, I didn't really expect all that much. Since I anticipated needing to use it only once or twice in my life, I didn't really care.
This toolset exceeded my expectations greatly. These tools feel very solid, even the stripper, and actually feel like major overkill. The only part of the process that isn't "2 second-easy" is stuffing the cable into the connector... but that's nothing to do with the tools.
I wonder if the other reviewer got a bad stripper, or maybe he used it wrong. You just clip it on the cable and then twirl it. The spring clip provides all the pressure it needs.

This product performs very well. The cable stripper works just fine. The compression crimper works perfectly. I found that this bundle worked great with RG6-Quad cable. The stripper works great for making 2-level strips as long as you use it carefully and take your time. It's just plastic and the blade is very small, but it will do the job if you don't handle it roughly. The supplied compression connectors work fine with RG6-Quad and standard RG6 cable and the compression tool is a snap to use. About the only thing missing from this bundle is a flaring tool which would make installation of the cable into the connectors easier. If it had the flaring tool, I'd give it 5 stars.

This product works perfectly. I wanted to shorten a few cables to tidy up the rooma bit and redirect one splitter and this is great. Great tool for the everyday person that wants to cut and compress. I have never tried the crimper but the compressor is great.
