I had about 10 6x10 beams that needed cut flush with the wall they were sitting on. I knew by the looks of the tool that is was not supper heavy duty so I was real careful while using it. The weakest part is the piece that slides into the saw because it can only be so thick. Well when I fist tried it it would not fit into my porter cable saw. No problem im glade they made it extra thick so i could just grind it down to fit instead of being loose. A few passes on the grinder and worked great. i was using a 10"+ blade and cut about 7 6x10's just fine then snap. It broke off right were the two alen screws go into the red aluminum block. So all I did was drill two more holes in the thin plate and screw it back on. Cut the rest of the 6x10's I needed and threw it in the tool box for next time. I may not have fit right off the bat and also broke on me but it did what I need to get done quicker and better than if I had to flex the blade, bend a few, and not get totaly flush. Would have cost me just as much with all the blades I would have ruined. So I think it was worth it.
