I ordered 3 packages of the suggested replacement filter (WF813) for my ReliOn Vaporizor (RCM-832), when I tried to use the filter the water seemed to poor right through it as though it were not there. The water of coarse streamed out of the back of the machine and onto my children's books which are still soaked. When I called Filters-NOW they said I could 1) return the filters that were unopened only if I were to pay the shipping fees yet again, because mind you I had already paid to have them sent to my home when I placed the order. And of coarse I had in fact opened the package. How else would I know that the filters do not work? Or 2) I could purchase a water treatment solution at my local hardware store that would make it so the filter would better absorb the water. Now call me crazy but when I purchased this filter the information did not state anything about needing to purchase a water treatment solution in order to make the product work effectively. And the filters that came with the vaporizor intially did not require a treatment solution. And if I do try the water treatment what happens if that doesn't work? Will Filters-NOW reimbusrment me for the cost of the water treatment? I should think not. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this vendor.
