After reading some of the reviews about leaking issues, I was concerned about this shower system. I decided to give it a try because the positive reviews were very positive. The installation was very simple and I didn't have any leaking at all. You do need to be very careful with the rubber washers in both ends of the handheld hose. They are easily lost when connection ends slides down the hose.
Once installed, this is by far the best shower system that I have ever experienced. I removed the flow restrictors out of both heads and increased the flow. I also like the fact that one or both heads can be used at a time. I intend to install in all my bathrooms.
The only negative aspect of this shower system is that it is made of plastic. If it only last a year or two I will certainly get my moneys worth. I will and have recommended this system to anyone looking for a great shower system at a great price.

I bought this item and recieved within a week.
I used it for the firt time and was dissapointed on the lack of information of requiring additional items fot this product to work correctly.
First of all the shower head comes down really low am 5'2" and feel it is too low, so I also bought the S shaped extension arm to raise the shower head, which made a huge difference to my 6'husband and I.
When installing the actual shower head and hose the instructions indicate to NOT FORGET THE WASHERS for inside the hose on each end. Well this product didn't come with the stupid washers. Come on the things don't cost that much they can't include them with the product. Total BULL! The inconveient to having to go to the hardware store was a real pain.
All in all the product is great, but be warned if purchasing get all the items required to install and avoid extra trips to the hardware store.

We bought this shower head nine months ago to replace one that had gotten rusty and started leaking, and this Peerless one has worked great! In the nine months that we've had it, it hasn't leaked at all for us, nor are there any signs of rust. Based on the reviews, it sounds like it might be rather hit-and-miss with whether or not yours leaks.
As with any new shower head, it took us a few weeks to get used to the pressure it emits, but it really does send out a nice amount of pressure.
The cord is also long enough to really be functional, and it enables me to use the detachable head to also clean the shower each week.
We tend to keep it on one setting, but it's nice to have various settings available. It also only took my husband about 15 minutes to install it.
Overall, we're really pleased with this shower head. It puts out a heavy spray and feels nice!

This is the first time I've had a hand held attachment and already I have loved using it in so many ways. For my apartment, the hot water last a LONG LONG LONG time and the pressure is good. The only thing that hasn't been great is that I'm tall (6'5") and w/ the showerhead there isn't a rain down feeling. I'm thinking of adjusting my shower though. Anyway, the showerhead was easy to install. I'd recommend using a tool to help tighten the screw on parts of the showerhead so they are more secure. You don't need to though and that is a huge plus. It is easy to use and provides a very wide spray area. If I were to use a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, I'd rank this in the 8-9 range. The things that could make it better would be stronger pressure when using both the horseshoe and handheld (but still strong enough for fantastic rinsing and a good shower stimulation) and more showerhead spray features.Customer Review: Why did I wait so long...

I really like this product. At first I thought it was kinda ET looking, but went by reviews. When you step under the main shower head it is great... like a rainfall water shower but you can adjust it to not get in your face. It feels wonderful...a soft WIDE soothing shower with enough oomph to use alone. I was going to remove the waterflow restrictor, but not necessary - the pressure is fine. The handheld is a little tricky getting out but I think I will get used to it...much better than my old one - it was the kind with the small holder for the handheld that kept falling out and hurtling toward my toes. The handheld is light weight which is a plus for me and the settings are good. There's lots of versatility. I am an Amazon fan because of these reviews and their free shipping. And even though they have to charge sales tax now, it was still cheaper than at my local store.
