Customer Review: Everyone should own one!

Considering that I live in the city, attend numerous weddings and occasional concerts, these are really a necessity! I would recommend them to anyone whose child is exposed to above normal decibel levels, which is basically everyone. Every event with loud music or microphones is potentially a threat to a child's (or anyone's!) hearing. My kids found these comfortable and comforting. I think they enjoy being able to experience the world in a softer way. They also like to wear them during thunderstorms when the sounds are frightening! They hug the ears well, and the material is comfortable aside from the corners of the headpiece, which never touches them. My 2 year old can take then off and put them on herself, and I trust that she'll wear them when she needs to. She can even sleep in them!Customer Review: Great kids hearing protection

I got these for my 2 year old son several months ago. He likes being outside with me when working in the yard, often times with loud equipment. He likes to wear them. They stay in place on his head just fine, and there is plenty of room for growing. He should get several years of use out of them. I do wish they had a little higher noise reduction rating, but they are still very good. I do ocassionaly put ear plugs in before putting on his headset (probably overkill). Having worked around loud equipment and aircraft for years I know how hearing can be damaged and how well these protect hearing. the big issue was that my 9 month old HATED it for the first 1 month. as soon as i put it on, she reached up and removed it. if i tried to hold her and distract her, she started crying. it was not too tight, but she was just unhappy with it.
finally, after 1 month of trying (tried it 5 times in one month), she was ok with it. but i had to carry her and keep her a little distracted.
bottom line, at this point, i love it. it allows me to take the baby to music concerts and not worry about the sound being too loud for her. also, she sleeps very well with it on.

When I found out my husband was going to be completing in a three gun match I started the hunt for earmuffs for our two month old. I found these and they worked great! My little guy slept in the BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier Original - City Black most of the day with these earmuffs securely on his ears. He slept through the handgun stage, shot gun stage, and the rifle/AR-15 stage. They were wonderful. AND he looked so cute!!! We bought these for our 4 year old son who goes to the races with us. We have tried numerous types of ear plugs and nothing seemed to fit him well without bothering him. We purchased these & he really likes them. A lot of people are wearing head phones of some sort so he thinks its cool & says they are really comfortable. They adjust fairly easily - although I'm not sure I would let him adjust them as I think the wire that slides in & out of the plastic sleeve would bend easily & the plastic sleeve could break. Besides that, I would highly recommend.
