These are great! I don't understand the complaint about not being adjustable because they certainly are adjustable and comfortable. They are well made for the price and because of the metal in the headband I don't expect them to snap in half like my last plastic pair. And, they certainly muffle sound effectively. I wait until I have started my yard tools so that I can hear how they are operating before putting on the headset. I jumped into the truck to haul a load of branches that I had taken down with the chain saw and forgot to take the headset off. I could not hear the truck motor or radio at all.Customer Review: Does the Job Well!

I compared the Ultimate-10 with my rather old hearing protectors and of course there was an improvement. I found the muffs to be a comfortable fit around the ears and the headband was comfortable over the head. So much so that often I forgot to remove them when not needed while discussing our targets. The only use to date was outdoors with a 9MM carbine but in comparison with my older hearing muffs the Ultimate-10 proved to be a good choice as a replacement. Definitely attenuates the sharp crack to a mild thud. I believe it is a very good product to consider, even though I've had them a short time.Customer Review: Lowers the volume of most sounds tremendously

It's a pretty good deal for the price. First thing I did when I got it is turn up the speaker of my notebook computer to max volume and play some loud music, then I put the protector on. I can still hear the music, but not so much the drums and bass. I think if I wear ear plugs it'll work even better. This is great for those of you that live in apartments, we all know there are noisy neighbors no matter where you go, and especially if you stay in low-end apartments there are even more of them. So this might help taking some of the stress out of living in an economically practical housing.Customer Review: These delivered for a low price

EXCELLENT product for a low price.
I was struggling with noise from neighbors above me at my apartment complex. These phones block out much more noise than I expected. They are a little weighty on the head but not as bad as one might think. I have fallen asleep in a chair with these on.
I would definitely recommend these. They probably block out over 90% of annoying sounds, bangs, etc that annoy me from up above; only the loudest sounds come through. This is one of the best products of this type that you're going to find at this price.

These hearing protectors are extremely quiet. I have used other headphone style hearing protection as well as in the ear types, these beat all of those hands down. I don't use mine in a dusty, dirty or over rough environment so I can't attest to durability. The cushions that actually touch your head might disintegrate if you are too rough with them. As far as comfort they feel great. Though the packaging claims all day comfort I disagree. After an hour or two your ears/head aches from the pressure. The pressure isn't painful, just noticeable. Overall a great buy.
