I needed these when running chainsaws and my kubota tractor and occassional shooting. I can honestly say they are very good at reducing noise and comfortable to wear. In fact after I get off the tractor the road noise in front of my place seems much louder. I ordered another pair for the wife as she liked them too when she is running a gas blower and weedeater.Customer Review: USE THIS

This is the best of the sound deadeners I have tried. But I write this review not so much to tout the product as to encourage the reader to USE HEARING PROTECTION. As someone who did not use hearing protection for years, and now suffers from tinnitus, I urge you to save your hearing. I purchased the Peltor earphones about three weeks ago and have used them twice while mowing my two acre lawn. What a difference the earphones make! The engine sound is cut by about 80 percent. For the reasonable price I paid, the earphones have proven well worth the investment. My ears thank me for having gotten these.Customer Review: Very Pleased

For the money you cant beat the quality of noise reduction you get from the Peltor 97010. I slip these on when i use the leaf blower and it reduces it to a low hum from a deafening roar. Really happy with the price to quality ratio on these, i feel it was a great purchase and they have worked great for me.Customer Review: Not bad, not great

I was looking for a headset that would block out noise without being an expensive music-providing item like the Bose headphones. For the price, you can't go wrong; it blocks out most of the noise but not as much as I expected. My daughter has a soft voice and when she talks I can hear everything she says.
